It is not necessary to be fasting to perform this test.
Treatment should not be suspended in order to perform a 68Ga-DOTATOC PET scan.
No special premedication is required. However, you should check your convocation for any special instructions.
- Women of childbearing age: please inform us of any risk of pregnancy.
- Breast-feeding: When administration during breast-feeding is essential, milk may be drawn off before injection and stored for later use. Breast-feeding must be suspended for at least 24 hours, and milk produced during this period must be pumped and discarded.
