DOTATOC PET-SCAN

The radioactive product will be administered into the intravenous infusion previously set up by the nuclear medicine technician.

It is not necessary to have a rest phase after the administration of this radioactive product, but you will be installed in a cubicle for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

The nuclear medicine technician will ask you to urinate before the examination. You will be asked to dress conservatively and remove all metallic objects (jewelry, piercings, hearing or dental aids, etc.).

The examination under the machine is painless and lasts about 15 to 20 minutes.

The examination table on which you will be lying passes through the ring of the PET scanner. The device is wide and open at the sides.
