The product injected into the scanner causes a sensation of heat when injected through the catheter.
It is necessary to hold the lying position for about ten minutes.
For certain examinations, the operator may ask you to hold your breath for a short time (a few seconds).
During the scan, we will ask you to remove any clothing containing metal objects (buttons, bras, etc.), as well as any jewelry.
Images need to be analyzed. They are not always interpreted in real time, and are sometimes transmitted to a teleradiologist.
Once the examination has been completed, the results will be forwarded to your referring physician, who will inform you of the results at your next consultation.
