Ultrasound scan

30 minutes

The radiologist applies a small amount of gel to the skin in the area to be explored.

The radiologist will then move the probe over the patient's skin and visualize the various organs on the screen.

In some cases, it may be necessary to hold your breath for a few moments or change position to better visualize certain areas.

For pelvic ultrasound, the radiologist may also use an endocavitary ultrasound probe.
