The contrast medium used is Gadolinium. It is very well tolerated by patients, although common allergic reactions (such as urticaria) are possible.

It is important to remain well hydrated for 24 hours after the examination, to allow the injected contrast medium to eliminate properly from your body.

The images are then analyzed on a computer by the radiologist. The written report will be available as soon as possible and forwarded to the doctor treating you.
